Мы реализовали проект дома-яйца, потому что не хотели сидеть в бетонной «коробке». Сферу выбрали из-за нескольких факторов. Во-первых, это быстросборная конструкция: основа купола собирается на месте за несколько дней. Вторая причина — экологичность. Фанерный каркас, натуральное дерево, металлические крепежи, деревянная и бамбуковая мебель, эко-утеплитель — вот из чего мы в основном состоим. От дождя и снега прячет чехол из архитектурного ПВХ. Такая постройка оставляет после себя минимум мусора и отлично вписывается в местный природный ландшафт. Ну и жизнь без углов — это нечто новое для большинства людей в Сочи.

За четыре месяца стройки выпили больше ста литров кофе у соседей, вбили 10 кг гвоздей и вкрутили 12 000 саморезов. Мы ночевали во всех окрестных хостелах, иногда за стенкой у местных гастарбайтеров. Нам помог каждый человек, с которым мы хоть как-то пересеклись — словом, делом, едой, обогревом, инструментом. На помощь приходили даже местные сноубордисты и лыжники, которые вне сезона занимаются строительством и работают именно с деревом. Они помогли достроить второй этаж — совершенно удивительное место для посиделок за чаем или чтением книг. Мы в шутку называем его «чердак из детства». Многие приходят к нам только ради него.

У нас достаточно необычный формат — арт-кооператив. Мы объединяем представителей разных творческих профессий для общих проектов в области дизайна, архитектуры, искусства и ремесел.
